Montana photos

Our trip next leads us to Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park. Yellowstone was a geological wonder land. A few too many tourists, but what a spectacular place to take the family! Our big back packing trip to Glacier had to be modified due to new snow on the passes. Most of our route was still closed. We had to contend with 1 overnight trip and many day hikes. I was pretty happy with the new plan, since Vanna offers a much better night's sleep then a tent. And, I can drink wine at night!

We had some issues with the over zealous marmot population at Cracker Lake. While dining in the food preparation area, the nasty critters ripped into our tent, ruining our zipper, in order to much away at Chuck's sandals. This is Captain Scabby showing them who's boss!
