Another typical night in Talkeetna, Alaska

Famous Bush pilot, Frances, taking photos with his new fans.

Frankie in the bar, eyeing up a white fluff-fluff dog.

This is France's family, and the nympho from Nome. Her friend tried to pick up Chuck.

After a somewhat disappointing beginning to our Alaska Adventure, Monday night in Talkeetna made up for our shaky start in Tok (Vanna issues) and long bus ride through Denali. We fortunately planted ourselves at the bar right next to the right folks, friendly Alaskans who filled the evening with stories about Alaska's bush flights, warnings about bears, little known WWII tidbits and bar gossip. Drunk Boy Chuck was almost picked up by the Nome Nymphos. Frankie got to hang out inside the bar, and I even got the local guys to convince Chuck that a flight up to Mt. McKinley was worth the money. (we'll see if that goes through).

Hey...I love the pictures and stories and updates about where you guys are. We've been wondering how you're doing. Mochi is very glad that he did not go.
